Veracious Brewing Company:

 

We currently have sixteen beers on tap and eight wines for sale by the glass.  We have food trucks on some days we are open, carry the take-out/delivery menus of local restaurants Sal’s Pizza, Vazzy’s and The Tavern, but you can bring in your own food as well.  Well behaved and well-supervised children are welcome!

Our tasting room is open on Thursday 3pm-9pm, Friday 12pm-9pm and Saturday 10am-9pm.  The tap room and brewery are available to rent for private events on the days we are not open.

You can find our beers on tap at Vazzy’s Osteria, Osteria Romana, Insports and Monroe Social all of which are located in Monroe.  You can also find our beers at Romanacci Pizza Bar in Trumbull, Tap and Vine in Wallingford, My Place in Newtown, The Corner Tavern in Union City, Prime 16 in Orange, both Pies ‘n Pints locations and GYPSCY in New Haven. This year we had seven beers on tap at the Harbor Yard Stadium in Bridgeport during the Bridgeport Bluefish games and our beers will be on tap in the Webster Bank Arena during Bridgeport Sound Tiger hockey games and other events there.  We also sell logs and half barrels through Warehouse Wines which is located next to Maltose Express.  Just give us a call if you would like Veracious beer at your next party or picnic.

In January 2016 we were named as one of the top 33 new breweries of 2015 in the United States by Beer Advocate Magazine.

In the last four weeks we brewed  our milk stout “Udderly Delicious”, Problem Child IPA, an Imperial Stout with Belgian Yeast, Lucy’s Last Call and our Black Velvet Imperial Stout.

October 19th:  Lucy’s Last Call
BRIDGEPORT SOUND TIGERS
We are very excited for this years Bridgeport Sound Tigers season which stars on October 19th.   We will have a kiosk at the Webster Bank Arena near section 104 and will be serving three to five of our beers.

In January 2016 we were named as one of the top 33 new breweries of 2015 in the United States by Beer Advocate Magazine.

We have 16 beers on tap!  All of our beers are available in 32 oz and 64 oz growlers to go.

 

Across the Water Wheat

Our wheat ale was brewed with German yeast and grain and hops fro the USA, 4.3% abv

Andromeda IPA

Our IPA brewed with Galaxy hops from the Southern hemisphere, we only make this one time per year, 6.0% abv

Bloobs

We use local blueberries from Jones Family Farm in this wheat beer, 5.9% abv

Grady’s Bitter

Refreshing English ale with a malt and earthy hops aroma and medium body, 3.7% abv

Grodziskie

a Polish beer style brewed with 100% oak-smoked Wheat Malt, 2.9% abv

 

Oud Boreus

Imperial Red Ale, brewed with a hint of rye to balance off the crystal malt, 8.3%abv

PIA Pale Ale

Bright pale ale, similar to a New England style IPA but with a great aroma and aftertaste, 4.6% abv

Pigtail P0rter

Our robust American Porter brewed with over 20% of specialty and roasted grains, 5.7%abv

Pedestrian Pale Ale

American Pale Ale with a nice marriage of grains and US hops, 5.3% abv

Problem Child IPA

A light bodied IPA with piney and lemony flavor and aroma, 5.7% abv

Saison D’Tessa

Belgian-style Imperial Saison brewed with local honey and spices, 9.0% abv

Time and 1/2

A more aggressive IPA brewed with Amarillo hops, 6.8%abv

Veracious Brewing Pilsner

Our refreshing Bohemian-style Pilsner, brewed with Czech Saaz and German Hallertauer hops 5.1% abv

Veracious Brewing Dunkel

A malty German-style lager with roasted grains, German hops and a full body, 6.2% abv

West Coast Old School Pale Ale

This pale ale is a little on the bitter side, with Cascade and Columbus hops and a touch of crystal malt, 5.7% abv

WET

This pale ale was brewed with WET hops that our mug club had picked off the hop vine hours earlier, 5.3% abv
