Veracious Brewing Company:

We will be open this Sunday from noon to 5PM!

We currently have nineteen beers on tap, New England Cider and eight wines for sale by the glass.  We have food trucks on some Saturdays, carry the take-out/delivery menus of local restaurants Sal’s Pizza and  Vazzy’s, but you can bring in your own food as well.  Well behaved and well-supervised children are welcome!

Our tasting room is open on Thursday 3pm-9pm, Friday 12pm-9pm and Saturday 10am-9pm.  The tap room and brewery are available to rent for private events on the days we are not open.

You can find our beers on tap at Vazzy’s Osteria, Osteria Romana and Monroe Social all of which are located in Monroe.  You can also find our beers at Romanacci Pizza Bar in Trumbull, Geronimo in Fairfield, Westbrook Lobster and Tap and Vine in Wallingford, My Place in Newtown, both Pies ‘n Pints locations, GPSCY and Miya’s in New Haven and 323 Main in Westport. This year we had seven beers on tap at the Harbor Yard Stadium in Bridgeport during the Bridgeport Bluefish games and our beers are on tap in the Webster Bank Arena during Bridgeport Sound Tiger hockey games and other events there.  We also sell logs and half barrels through Warehouse Wines which is located next to Maltose Express.  Just give us a call if you would like Veracious beer at your next party or picnic.

In the last few weeks we brewed Grady’s Better Bitter, an Irish-style Red Ale, a new version of Pedestrian, Time and 1/2 IPA, Owd Boreus, 29 Pews IPA, Problem Child IPA, Lucy’s Last Call and Matt Knight’s Homebrew Contest winning Porter.

We are very excited for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers season which started on October 19th.   We have a kiosk at the Webster Bank Arena near section 104 and will be serving four of our beers.

We have 19 beers on tap!  Most of our beers are available in 32 oz and 64 oz growlers to go.


We brew many beer styles here at Veracious.  You may not know or like every style but we encourage you to read the beer descriptions below and to enjoy our beer selection.


27 Pews – A lighter version of 29 Pews IPA brewed with an abundance of Citra hops, 5.8% abv

29 Pews – A well-balanced Citra-based American IPA has a citrusy aroma, bright flavor and pleasant citrus aftertaste, 6.0% abv

Big Scotty – This is a strong Scotch ale, or Wee Heavy and we bring it out each year durng the coldest weather since it is a warming ale for a cold day.  We use a small amount of peated malt to give the beer its traditional smoky nuance along with some crystal malt that provides a rich flavor and an amber color, 8.3% abv

Black Velvet – We brew this Russian Imperial Stout once a year.  It has a roasted grain aroma, smooth malty flavor and aftertaste, 8.6% abv

BloobsYou may not like this beer if you like fruit beers since this is made with real local blueberries, not just blueberry flavoring.  We use 1 pound of local blueberries from Jones Family Farm per gallon of beer in this wheat beer.  Since the local soil is very acidic, the blueberries give the beer a slightly tart flavor, 5.9% abv

Freddie American Stout – A roasty stout with American hop presence, 6.0% abv

Galactic Seduction – American-style IPA brewed with Galaxy hops from the Southern Hemisphere.  The aroma and flavor is a pleasant blend of tropical fruit and citrus, 6.0% abv

Jack’d Up Pumpkin – Full-bodied English Ale with pumpkin spices, 7.8% abv

Lucy’s Last Call – Belgian-style Golden Ale brimming with flavor, 9.3% abv

Mommies Boy Pale Ale  – Our new pale ale has an aroma of tangerines and a bright fruit flavor.  It is similar to a New England IPA but it has a great aroma and aftertaste and it will still taste great 6 weeks from now! , 4.6% abv

My Hoppy Place – Imperial IPA with a citrus aroma and a bright, strong melon, citrus and pineapple flavor, 4.6% abv

Noella 2016 – Our 2016 Belgian-style Christmas beer that we lagered for 1 year, 9.6% abv

Pigtail Porter – Our robust American Porter brewed with over 20% of specialty and roasted grains, 5.7% abv

Problem Child IPA – Refreshing light-bodied American IPA with pine and lemon aroma and flavor, 5.7% abv

Saison D’Tessa – Our Imperial Saison is brewed spices, candi sugar and local honey, 9.3% abv

Time & 1/2 American IPA – Our most aggressive IPA packed with Amarillo hops, 6.9% abv.

Veracious Brewing Pilsner – Our refreshing Bohemian-style Pilsner, brewed with Czech Saaz and German Hallertauer hops, 5.1% abv

Udderly Delicious  – This milk stout is brewed with a large percentage of roasted grains to balance off the lactose and is roasty and semi-sweet, 4.9% abv

West Coast Old School Pale Ale –East Coast beer drinkers usually like sweeter beers.  This pale ale is a little on the bitter side, with Cascade and Columbus hops and a touch of crystal malt, 5.7% abv
